  • I've been eating a lot lately. Usually, I only have two meals and one snack a day. But now I think I'm eating more than the usual. Sometimes, I ate 3 cups of rice in one of my meals everyday. Maybe that's the reason why I felt heavier now even though I have my regular push ups and crunches daily.

Rice is the most important grain with regards to human nutrition and caloric intake, providing more than one fifth of the calories consumed worldwide by the human species.it is the most important staple food for a large part of the world's human population, especially in East, South, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and the West Indies. Rice is an amazing and life sustaining food that gives us energy in our everyday routine, it gives us satisfaction in our daily hunger. With my rice overdosage right now I realized things it is the three cups of rice that we need daily to sustain our life.

Cup #1: Rice from The FATHER (GOD). These are the blessings we recieved everyday. The Rice from the father that gives us satisfaction daily. This is like the Rice we get in Mang Inasal its unlimited.Rice all you can. Just like the blessing of the Lord is limitless. The Blessing of the Lord is limitless it only becomes limited for our capacity to contain it. Count your blessings everyday and you will see how God blesses you abundantly.

Cup #2: Rice from The SON (JESUS). The rice that sustains our Life. We live our lives for Jesus. We follow Christ everyday. God gave us His only son and that is Jesus Christ THE BREAD OF LIFE... - John 6:35. With Him we will never get hungry. God want us to partake the body and blood of Christ in the Holy Eucharist for us to live in union with Him and to live our lives in Jesus ways and principle. Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE"... - John 14:6 He is the true and living way to the Father. Indeed, none can come to the Father except through Him.The source of true spiritual life.

Cup #3: The rice from the Holy Spirit. God want us to be Holy for He is Holy. We need to live our life in holiness. Indeed, the Holy Spirit is the Father and Son's gift... To those who believe, repent, and are baptized - John 7:37-39. The Holy Spirit is not some impersonal force, but the third person of the Godhead. Just as the Father and the Son are sources of great blessings. We know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:5

Receive the Blessings from the Father everyday, live like Jesus Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to make you Holy and empower you to do great things for the Lord. Having these 3 cups of rice everyday your life will be filled with blessings and then you will live your life to the full.

    WIFI Connection

  • Everyday I work most of the time using my laptop and the internet, communicating people through email, chat, web-surfing and etc. Everyday i work in the net and this has been my daily routine to use the internet everyday specially if I'm not on mission to my areas. I spend 5-6hrs using the internet everyday using wireless internet known as WIFI.

Speaking of WIFI. Now a days, a lot of people are now using Laptops than Desktop computers because it has a wireless capability and can connect to the internet through WIFI. Wifi is the most convenient source network for internet connection. wifi is a popular wireless networking technology that uses radio waves to provide wireless high-speed Internet and network connections. A common misconception is that the term Wi-Fi is short for "wireless fidelity," however this is not the case. Wi-Fi is simply a trademarked term meaning IEEE 802.11x. Nosebleed?. Well, I'm not here to talk about what is WIFI really all about. But, I'm here to share how this wireless internet connection affect me and made me realized 3 things about Life.

First, I realized that Love is wireless. LOVE is like a wireless internet network.Whether its is a love for a lover, friend, family, or for the Lord. It is wireless. Why?, because you can share love and receive love even if you're in a distance, even if you didn't see each other. Just like God we don't see Him but we feel and we received His love and blessings. Some people say Distance is just a test to see how far love may travel. Therefore, love is a wireless connection between two person where they can connect depending on how wide their frequency is.

Second, God is wireless. God is the wireless connection network. For us to let His love flow like the internet connection we need to connect to a network and that network is God. God is the access point where we connect to Him so that we can access His high-speed connection of love and blessings  and allow it to flow in our lives. Every moment of our lives, we are connecting to God.

Lastly, Our Prayer Time is the access password. Prayer Time is wireless. For us to connect into the network we need a password to access the connection and that password is our prayer time. Prayer Time is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him" (1 John 5:14-15). With our prayer time we can enjoy the unlimited flow of His blessings and love.

    Towards the GOAL

  • World Cup is over.Viva Espanya! I'm so happy that my favorite team won the World Cup. Spain became winner team and won the FIFA World Cup 2010. Ive been into many sleepless nights just to watch Soccer. World cup reminds me my High School and College years when I'm still playing soccer. FYI: I was once a soccer varsity in my school during my sophomore year in high school until my third year in college. Not to boast, I'm one of the first eleven in every game in our team and I'm playing at the right forward position and I was the top scorer of the team with an 8 goals through out my varsity years. I really miss playing soccer. Our favorite line in my team is SOCCER IS LIFE! and indeed soccer made me who I am right now the discipline i learned there is forever treasured. I remember our coach told us 3 things for us to win a game. TIC: Technique, Insight and Communication.

My life is different now, I don't know if i could play soccer again but all I can say is that what I'm doing right now in my life is the best LIFE I ever had it's more than soccer. Though just like soccer there are also ups and downs, frustrations, struggles and failures sometimes. But I still manage to run the race "Towards my GOAL" with my own TIC!

T-trust in the Lord. I believed that in order to win the game of Life we need to trust in the Lord. God is trustworthy. The Bible tells us to trust God. Therefore, trust in Him and in Him alone in all things. Trust Him to be faithful to you. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord and he will make straight paths to your GOAL.

I-intimate Prayer Time. Prayer is power, so pray intimately to God to gain more power. Life without prayer is no life at all. Prayer is our communion with God, whether it be a petition made to God, worship, repentance, praise, or thanksgiving. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours -Mar 11:24. But do not pray just to get things from God, Pray to know more God. Pray Intimately!

C-Christ Centered Life. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by Faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20. Once we value Christ above everything else, we will learn to love our family with a deeper and healthier love. Life purpose is found in the person of Jesus Christ. The more we love Christ, the more we'll love others. My Goal is Christ.

  • Last month the battery of my laptop got inoperative and I needed to replace the battery pack because its not working anymore. Since it was still on a warranty I went to my laptops service center to ask for replacement, but the technician told me that it would take them almost 3 weeks to process before I can get the battery pack replacement. And so, for almost a month I was using my laptop without its battery and for that duration when I'm working using my laptop I always encountered improper shutdown because every time someone accidentally unplug my AC adapter I got shutdown automatically and caused me not saving the things that I'm working.
Seeing my laptop in that way made me appreciate more the beauty of Life with the Lord and it allowed me to realized 3 Things.

First, I realized that God is the Source of everything in our life. Blessings, happiness and joy are all from the Lord, He is the source, He is Life. In John 14:6 as Jesus tells us, "I am the way and the truth and the life. We all need sources in our lives. A source is a supplier of something that we can not produce on our own and that source is Jesus. When we receive the Lord Jesus and his gift of eternal life then we are able to tap into the resources of God.

Second, the battery pack is our Love Battery. We share our love to the people we meet everyday and as we shared this love to them time will come the love we have in our battery pack will be depleted and so, we need to recharge it to the source. Like the battery pack we need to recharge our love battery once it will be exhausted. Love is the main reason why we existed because that is what our God is. God is Love. Love is essential in our life that we cannot lose. You can lose your faith but not love, you can lose your hope but don't lose love, because if you lose LOVE you lose GOD.

Lastly, the AC adapter is our connection to the source (Our Relationship with JESUS). It is our relationship with Jesus that connects us to the source and our job is to stay connected to him through our personal relationship with Him and our prayer time. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. John 15:7. Our Lord Jesus is the source for every thing that we need, and our relationship with Him will recharge our love battery (LOVE) for us to receive the unending supply (Blessings) we need to the source (God).Stay connected!

My Future: High or Low Concerns Me Not

  • “What may be my future lot,
    High or low concerns me not;
This doth set my heart at rest:
What my God appoints is best.”

A very beautiful and affirming quote I've found. This quote really gives me strength the time I came to the point of doubting what my future would be. I am at my 29th now, still single, praying and loving life to the fullest in serving God and His people. But sometimes there are times I sit alone in a corner planning, thinking and worrying for my future. They say (My Friends), I'm the calmest and the coolest person ever (Mr.Cool) but even though, I worry. But when I came across to this quote i realized 3 things, 3 things that God promised me for my future.

First, My future is full of HOPE. as Gods promised for us in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,'declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God promised us in several places in the Bible, that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He promised that He is always with us. One of the things that excite me in the goodness on God is the fact that not only is God for me; He is with me and in me and will NEVER leave me alone. The Lord is all I have so I put my Hope in Him.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose HOPE is the LORD." Jeremiah 17:7

Second, My future is in HIS HANDS. Sometimes, we spend a lot of time worrying about the future. And yet most of what we worry about never comes to pass. The Lord promised us not to worry about your life, what you will eat or drink. in Luke 12:22-26 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the birds: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? If then you are not able to do so small a thing as that, why do you worry about the rest?. God will take care of our future just like how he takes care of those birds in the verse, we are the apple of His eyes and so I believed that He is the one holding our future, every child of God is entitled this promise. Let us not put limitations to his promise and underestimate his power.

You are my God. My times are in Your HAND." Psalm 31:14

And lastly, My future is a taste of HEAVEN. God promised us to seek first His kingdom and everything will follow. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33. I am among those who experienced the truth in this verse. If you seek happiness, happiness will just elude you, but if you seek the kingdom of God happiness will find you. God's will first, and you will be happy!. In the end, God's will is our hearts desire and that desire is heaven, for heaven is here in our Heart.

As Psalm 37:4 tells us, "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

    Burdens to Wings

  • They will soar on wings like eagles. (Isaiah 40:31)

In my todays reflection I came accross reading a story about the way the birds got their wings.

    The Story
There is the fable about the way birds got their wings. The story goes that initially they where made without them. Then God made them the wings, set them down before the wingless birds, and said to them, "Take up these burdens and cary them."

The birds had sweet voices for singing, and lovely feathers that glistened in the sunshine, but they could not soar in the air. When ask to pick up the burdens that lay at their feet, they hesitated at first. Yet soon they obeyed, picked up the wings with their beaks, and set them on their shoulders to carry them.

For a short time the load seemed heavy and difficult to bear, but as soon, as they continued to carry the burden and to fold the wings over their hearts, wings grew attached to their little bodies. They quickly dicovered how to use them and were lifted by the wings high into the air. The weights had become wings.

The story really strucked me straight to my heart and then I realized 3 Things.

Burden is a BLESSING. we are the wingless birds, and our duties, task and mission are the wings God uses to lift us up and carry us heavenward.

Burden is our CALLING. God called us to follow His steps and so he want us to carry our load, burden, and cross by denying our human self and allowing Him to use us powerfully for His greater glory.

Burden is our OFFERING for God. We take up our cross because we love our God we want to follow Him. Therefore, denying ourselves and taking up our burdens daily is our offerings for the Lord. We have recieved without paying and now we give without being paid but offer our burdens to Jesus.

No matter how overwhelming, any burden God has lovingly placed with His own hands on our shoulders is a blessings.Frederick Faber

There is no burden so heavy that when lifted cheerfully with love in our hearts will not become a blessing to us. - J.R. Miller

    Reflection on Waiting

  • Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for HIM - Psalm 37:7

I waited patiently for the LORD - Psalm 40:1

Sometimes waiting is really hard because Waiting is much more difficult than walking, for waiting requires patience, and patience is a rare virtue.

Have you prayed and prayed, and waited and waited, and still you see no evidence of an answer? Are you tired of seeing no movement? Are you at the point of giving up? Then perhaps you have not waited in the right way, which removes you from the right place --the place where the Lord can meet you.

3 things I realized on Waiting.

First is, when you wait you PRAY. Prayer is a good attitude we can have while waiting for God's grace and blessings, for only God knows the best for us. In Him we put our trust.

Second, waiting is LOVING. It is by loving yourself and others where the blessing of the Lord can flow like streams, streams that can quench our thirst for a lifetime.

Third, when you wait you SURRENDER. The perfect attitude of waiting is when we surrender, when we deny ourselves and rely everything to His will. We give your full trust to the Lord and Wait for it patiently - Rom 8:25. Do not worry to put our trust in Him because the God who does not lie promised - Titus 1:2.
